Crochet In Dubai

It was exactly at this time of the year, right after Diwali , that I had picked up my crochet hooks out of hibernation of almost seven years. It has been incredible journey so far and I'm becoming nostalgic looking back at how far I've come. It all started with beanies and sweaters for my little one. Then, it went on to more sweaters for some new borns in my family.  Then I became a part of a few Crochet Alongs . It was an amazing experience, where I learnt a lot of new techniques and made a lot of new crochet friends. It is really inspiring to meet like minded people. I will highly recommend any beginner crocheter to become a part of such groups. It was a year of handmad e gifts. Hi Friends This is my first blog in a really long time and my first ever regarding crochet. Let me first tell you something about myself and my love for crochet. I was first introduced to crochet when I was studying in Grade 6 and I immediately fell in love. It was my favourite hobby apart from embroidery and cross stitch, and I spent most of my vacations making something or the other. Here are some of my earlier projects... I also made a shawl which I took nearly 10 years to complete (mostly because I only did it during vacations, and I lost interest). Anyways, I did complete it before my marriage!
